Work: Zone : zone 15 interactive digital work
This piece was commissioned for the Visual Intelligence Research Project at Lancaster University, to record the thinking and making process involved in a painting. Presented as an interactive piece, alongside the painting, a flash animation showed the work developing from blank canvas to finished piece, followed by a palette of options for the viewer to click to access further information.
Produced in collaboration with Gary Pearson of lomilomi and Martyn Evans of sumac.
The work and the painting were shown at University of California,Turlok, USA, touring to Winchester Gallery, University of Southampton in 2006.
